Great article this week in Maclean’s Magazine regarding the long term effects of concussions. Anyone who plays sports, has kids that play sports or simply wants to have their eyes opened to the dangers of head trauma needs to read this article.

2011 is proving to be as exciting and successful a year as I could have only imagined. We have just gone live on our website with online training. We are offering courses as part of the “SafetyNet” that we are part of, whereby other safety training companies have written and designed approved and certified programs in a variety of areas regarding safety. Thus far we have: Hydraulic Safety, WHMIS, Lithium Battery Safety and Winter Driving Fundmentals. Coming soon there will be a wide array of programs available for you to purchase and take online. The most exciting part for us is that we are currently developing our own online First Aid Program which will be certified through Alberta Occupational Health & Safety and available as a blended model which includes both an online component (theory) and a classroom component (skills). Watch for that coming online late 2011 to early 2012!
